In addition to meeting credit requirements, all Oregon high school graduates must complete Personalized Learning Diploma Requirements (PLRs).

CRLEs

All PPS students are required to complete two Career-Related Learning Experiences (CRLEs) to graduate from high school. The CCC offers a variety of CRLE opportunities so you can get this done and have fun exploring careers! In order to fulfill the CRLE requirement, you need to write a short CRLE reflection. You will need to be logged in to your PPS account to access the link.

Portland Workforce Alliance also offers Career Day Events that qualify as CRLEs.

My Plan Project/Essay

The Extended Application is an Oregon graduation requirement and must contain a formal reflection of a student’s high school experiences related to college and career, community, future plans, and goals. As a result, PPS created The My Plan Project. The My Plan Project aims to meet the Extended Application requirement while supporting the district’s goal for every PPS student to graduate college and career-ready with an informed post-high school plan.

College Visits

You can view and sign up for college visits using MaiaLearning.

Signing Up for College Visits (Student Instructions)

Login to MaiaLearning.
Go to the “Events” tab & click on “Visits,”
Look for upcoming visits, and sign up by clicking "Actions" and "Attend"

These sessions can be connected to your school email/Google calendar so that you can join them quickly.
Most visits will be in-person in the CCC, but occasionally these are virtual.
NOTE: you must use your PPS email to join -- and these sessions are for students only, not parents.
