8th Grade Forecasting Information

8th grade students will get forecasting information through their middle school classes. A forecasting presentation will include all necessary information and links. Students will complete online forecasting on the Course Request tab on StudentVue. Following this, Cleveland counselors will connect directly with students in person and check selections. 

Steps for Forecasting Completion:

1. Please review this Presentation for information about middle school transition and forecasting support. 
2. Complete a Forecasting Planner to prepare for online entry. You may watch this Planner Video as a guide.
3. Complete Forecasting entry on StudentVue. In StudentVue, click on the “Course Request” tab to enter your course selections. For support, watch this Tutorial and use this Help Guide. 

Need Help?

• Talk to your middle school counselor, current teachers (math especially)
• Review the slide show and links to learn about elective classes
• Read descriptions of classes in the Interactive Course Guide
• Read the Course Guide Information Document for details about the IB program, credits and general policies at CHS
• Do your best, you’ll meet with a CHS counselor to finalize your course request and can ask questions.
• Please be sure to complete Step 3 above.
