9th - 11th Grade Forecasting Information

Please review this information carefully. It is highly recommended that you also review your student’s graduation requirements with them before making course selections. You can check a student's progress to graduation on StudentVue by selecting Course History.

Grades 9-11 will receive forecasting information from counselors the first week of the second semester.

9th grade students will have a presentation in their academy classes
10th grade students will attend a presentation in the auditorium on January 30
11th grade students will attend a presentation in the auditorium on January 30

All Students are encouraged to attend the Forecasting Fair during FLEX on February 5 and 6 to learn more about all the class offerings and the IB program.

How to complete your Forecasting:

Step 1: Preparation  Students are encouraged to complete their Forecasting Planner using the Course Guide or the Interactive Course Guide to help. Students will be given a paper copy during their forecasting presentation in the auditorium. Please follow all instructions on the Forecasting Planner.   Planners are not turned in and no signatures are required. The planner is used as a worksheet to help plan your schedule.

Step 2: Selections  Once you have completed the Forecast Planner, students are ready to complete forecasting selections on their StudentVue account. Using the COURSE REQUEST tab, students will be able to complete their online forecasting. Here is a Video Tutorial for students and a Help Sheet.

Step 3: Review  Counselors will review all online course requests and meet individually with students to ensure that the forecasted classes align to the student's 4-year graduation plan. Students should have completed their online course requests before counselors plan to meet with them in the following weeks:

9th grade - Week of 2/17
10th grade - Week of 2/23
11th grade - Week of 2/9
