Performing Arts at CHS

Drama

The Department of Theatre, aka, Company of Warriors (C.O.W.) produces a full season of productions, ranging in scope, from published and original plays, musicals, showcases to student directed one-acts. The Company of Warriors is dedicated to the study of theatre through process (curriculum in the classroom) and product (after school productions) learning. Cleveland Theatre allows students to explore the role of the actor, designer, director and playwright. The Company of Warriors is also an active participant in the International Thespian Society, Troupe #8081. Through community partnerships, students work with some of Oregon’s finest theatre practitioners.

Choral Music

Choral Music consists a variety of choral ensembles and Songwriting classes: Beginning Choirs (Nova Altus - Soprano/Alto Voices) (Nova Basso - Tenor/Basses), A' Choir (Auditioned Mixed SATB Ensemble), Daires (A small advanced voices choir) and Singer/Songwriter class. Cleveland Bands

Instrumental Music consists of Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Tech and Jazz Ensemble.
